Introduction

Saveguard texturised glass fabrics are manufactured from high performance 9 micron E’ Glass filament texturised yarns. The glass filaments are assembled and voluminised by passing over high pressure air jets to produce a lofted yarn with outstanding insulation properties. These yarns are then closely woven to produce a soft, durable and flexible fabric that can be readily treated or coated to further enhance its properties. Standard weights are 630, 1115, and 2000 gsm

 Typical Applications
Graphite Black in colour. Increased resistance to flexing at high temperatures.  Used in the manufacture of expansion joints as insulation layers. Protective curtains etc
FireHalt TM Blue/Green in colour. Short term temperature resistance up to 1000C for a single excursion. 120 minutes integrity.  Passive Fire Protection, Fire Barriers, Curtains
Vermiculite Gold in colour. Short term temperature resistance of 1000C where flexing is at a minimum, typically 30 minutes. Resistant to weld spatter and molten metal splash Welding Blankets,  Passive Fire protection, Plumbers Pads, Protective curtains etc
HT 75 Green in colour. Short term temperature resistance of up to 800C. Continuous operating temperature 650 - 700C. Used in the manufacture of expansion joints as insulation layers. Protective curtains etc
Weavelock White in colour. organic coating to improve handleability and fray resistance, burns off at relatively low temperatures Used in the manufacture of tadpole seals, enclosing of fibrous insulation materials.
Heat Cleaned Light Brown in colour. fabric heat treated to remove sizing from glass yarns For applications where smoke is not permissible.
Foil Laminated Heat reflective aluminium foil one side,  Intended for proximity use only as foil may start to delaminate at temperatures above 200C. Radiant heat shields
